What happens if I contact the Family Development Centre?

If you ring Monday to Friday between 9.00am and 5.00pm you should be able to speak with a receptionist. An answering service is available at all other times. Soon after your call, you will be contacted to arrange an initial FREE assessment session.

Who is the service for?

The service is offered regardless of gender, sexual orientation, ethnic or cultural background, to people of any faith, or none.

How do I make an appointment?

Are there any charges?

Your initial assessment session is free of charge. Subsequent counselling sessions are chargeable in order to help us cover the cost of running the service.

What kind of counselling is given?

Counsellors work with an integrated approach to counselling which seeks to help any individual achieve their full potential by resolving a variety of issues. However, we respect a persons right to their own beliefs.
